Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa L) not only regulates blood sugar but helps you lose weight as well!
Banaba tea already tastes good by itself but there is no reason why you can enjoy drinking it even more. By adding lemongrass and calamansi, you can add perk to your banaba tea and add more nutrition to it.
You will need:
1 teabag of Gourmet’s Banaba tea
1 short stalk of lemongrass
raw honey or Stevia leaf
Place the Gourmet’s Banaba teabag in a mug. Add hot water.
Soak in the lemongrass stalk and let it steep for 10-15 minutes.
Add a few drops of calamansi.
Add raw honey or Stevia leaves to taste. Serve hot.
